Mariusz Pudzianowski, famous strongman from Poland competed in his first MMA fight and won easily. He beat Najman in a matter of seconds, with very strong leg kicks and subsequently beating him a TKO.
Mariusz has won the World Strongman title an astonishing five times and his entry into MMA is therefore not a surprise, even though his actual fighting experience might considered limited. He will be good for the sport since he has a huge fan base. It will be interesting to see how he does after a year or two of training. A possible match-up against Fedor, considered the best cage fighter in the world, would be a huge event.
The Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has been knocked to the ground after being struck in the face at a rally in Milan. Berlusconi, 73, had a bloody face caused by a statuette which was hurled at him. It was thrown by a man who has been treated several times for mental problems. Berlusconi was whisked away to hospital with several injuries to his face.
The prime minister has been surrounded by controversy for most of his life. The billionaire built his empire on the entertainment industry. Scantily clad women and wild parties are never too far away. His opposition said it was his own fault since he gets too close to the public at times and that he instigates aggressive behaviour at rallies.
Joe McElderry from South Shields in northeastern England, won the very popular sixth series of X-Factor UK last night. Auditions were held in front of live studio audiences for the first time in this series.
The judges were: shoot-from-the-hip Simon Cowell, Dannii strange-comments Minogue, Louis Walsh and well-known singer Cheryl Cole.

Tiger Woods, the world's top golfer has made over a $1 billion from sponsorships due to his clean-cut image. On 27 November he crashed into a fire hydrant outside his Florida home. This event eventually changed the world's perception of this supposed family man dramatically.
His wife, Elin Nordegren, apparently ran out and smashed the back window with a golf club, to assist Tiger. There were rumours of marital problems and two days prior to the crash, the National Enquirer ran a story of Tiger having an affair with night club manager, Rachel Uchitel. Then cocktail waittress Jaimee Grubbs made it public that she also had an affair with Tiger Woods, and produced text messages and voice mails as proof.
Since them several other women, including two porn stars have admitted that they've had sexual encounters with Tiger Woods. The whole world was under the impression he was the loving husband with the perfect life yet it all appeared to be a lie.
